so i bought a new phone that was suppose to be unlocke well it isn't so i have a phone that i can't really use it's a motorola v70 if anyone knows how to unlock this i would be very greatful

Try either the last 3 or 4 digits of your phone number or social security number. My phone number was used as a default lock code.

If it's a Nextel usually their default lock code is 0000.

Do you mean unlocked as in "can be used for any GSM service provider"? Or unlocked as in you can't even get into the phone's menu?

I was thinking you meant so that it could be used for any provider.

If it was stated as unlocked and you bought it off Ebay then I would send back and make them send you an unlocked one.

If you decide to send back for a refund, make them pay for the shipping cost. If you don't want to buy from the same seller let me know, I do a pretty good bit of business on Ebay and have bought a bunch of phones, I know some good phone sellers.
