F'n Poison Ivy !!
I helped my dad put up some split-rail fencing the last couple days and now I have little blotches of poison ivy all over me. My right forearm has a lot on it. I hate this shit, its been years ago since I had it before. My brother gets it really bad and he said spray it with bleach-water to dry it out. Any other ideas ??

Damn Sorry to hear that. I had it back when I was a kids. There was some pink lotion type thing my parents put on it. I don't remember the name. Go to the pharmacy section at Wal-greens and check out the creams and lotions!NO PAIN, NO GAIN

This works to stop the its and scab it up first scratch the sh@t out of it antil the juice starts coming out then rinse under super hot water then pour bleach on it it works for real bro!Comment

I tried the bleach and it seemed to help some, stung like freakin crazy for an hour though. I bought some cleanser stuff and a gel that is supposed to dry it out as well as stop the itch. Worked well last night.Comment

Just go to the doc and get a shot for it........
I get that shit all the time and nothing OTC works to get rid of it for me. I just call the docs office and am in and out in about 15 minutes. Practically gone the next day.Vet here and there....

The best thing for poison Ivy is Prednisone.
In my Special Forces unit, our medics carried it with them....I am HIGHLY allergic and when I would show signs of it, the prednisone would get rid of it in no time!

Well, its clearing up in some places but popping up in others. If it doesnt make a great improvment in the next couple days then I'm going to the doctor. In the past it would clear up on its own, but that was probably 12 years or so ago.Comment
