  • Food and the stomach you put it in

Just watching the Mtv true life, im a competitive eater, and that shit is crazy how they eat that much. Anyone know how you get your stomach to expand like that? I want to know so I can eat more... just curious.

I'm more curious as to why??? I never knew that there were people that trained for that kind of deal or that they had "championships". I always thought that it was just some spur of the moment thing.

I'm sure it began just like any other type of competition. Just like weightlifting "I can lift more than you", but in this case "I can eat more than you."
Certainly interesting to watch though. They have their own federation http://www.ifoce.com/index.php . And there are specific eating contests all over the world. From the normal stuff like hamburgers, pizza, hotdogs, ect to the exotic like cow brains and other not-so-pleasant foods.
What really amazes me is who the best eaters are. And they aren't the big, fat, 400 pound guys like you would think. The current best eaters are Takeru Kobayashi a 27 year old, 132 pound man from Japan and Sonya Thomas a 37 year old, 105 pound woman of the USA.

THAT CHINESE GUY WAS BORN WITH HIS STOMACH BELOW HIS BELLY BUTTON. GIVES HIM A ADVANTAGE. HIS FATHER WAS THE BORN WITH THE SAME DEFECT ALSO.

u would be fat as hell at 10,000 calories. its a mathematical equation.

if u take in acess calories that u dont burn off u gain fat.
take ur bmr add ur activity and then eat about 500-1000 calories over that. us hould gain 1-2 pounds a week.
