  • The Bermuda Triangle

From the infamous Flight 19 To disappearing ocean liners, this has been going on for nearly a century. Lost planes, lost ship and weird unexplaind lights in the sky, all are unexplained. No debri, no wreckage, not even an ounce of evidence to be found. Interesting to say the least.

With todays technology you would think there is no possibility for such unexplainable events to take place, right? Well, think again, It's still happeneing today...right under our noses.

    Lost Aircraft-http://www.bermuda-triangle.org/html/lost_aircraft.html

We've all seen what happens when a plane hits the ocean. It gets shredded to a million peices, especially large planes like these....

    Lost Ships-http://www.bermuda-triangle.org/html/lost_ships.html

Look at the sizes of some of these ships. How do explain such a large object with millions of other objects on board to disappear without a trace? The ocean floor should be littered with objects, not to mention the vast amounts of items that float.

    Some intersesting THEORIES

These are real people, real vessels, real stories that have somehow vanished into thin air. My question to you is

    Do you believe?

Like this one. 309 passengers and a MASSIVE ship. How does it just disappear with no trace?

Wow!! I didn't know that many boats and ships were missing. I just thought it was something that occured "every 10 years during a full moon with the winds blowing northeast at 22.7mph" or some other unusual climatic event. I'm not going near the Bermuda triangle!!!

Thats just from 99-01. its been going on since the 1800's. And thats not including the missing aircraft either.

EDIT- First post i said "has been going on for nearly a century"

          Obviously i meant "two centuries"

Pirates! That's my answer. They wait in the triangle and then they attack and they set the ship on fire to leave very littel to be found, or they take it somewhere else and give it a new name.

LOL, I don't have a clue. I just know that I don't want to be on a boat or plane and go through there. LOL

I can easily see having a logical answer to the disappearing vessels back in the 1800's and early 1900's as there are all kinds of things that need to be factored in.... but the last twenty years? Modern technology should supply us with whatever we need to have a realistic, logical explanation, right?

if this continues to happen with GPS, black boxes and such, we have a serious problem to deal with.

Well, people can avoid that area, can't they? Think about it...yeah, it might take an extra few hours to get where you are going but atleast you get there. Hmmm...sounds good enough to me. I think every ship that goes through the triangle should have to be equiped with video feeds that are send directly to the some kind of satelite or military base and the recording starts when they enter it and stops when they safely leave it. If nothing weird happends then the video is erased. If the ship disappears, then we will have vidoe footage of what happened. That's not really that big of a deal either. It's something that could be done with four cameras. One at the bow, the stern, and both sides. All four points covered. Then we will know.

                Maybe it's a giant squid.....

                  I dunno T, it's a pretty large area...like 1.5 million square miles...

                    Re: The Bermuda Triangle

I watched a couple documentaries on the Bermuda Triangle and they had some very logical theories on what happens out there. Methane gas seems to be the apparent reason for these vanishings, even with planes.

Here is a better pic that shows where the planes went missing. I can't believe something like this is going on to this day! Especially right off of the coast of FL. Shit there should be some form of wreckage. Freaking bizarre!!!

I believe it but I think its large pockets of gas coming out of the bottom of the ocean.....there was a show that tried this theory and its very plausable the gas would make sucj great bubble it would capsize ships and the gas in the air would make the airplane engines cut out

Yep, that's one I watched too. They did very exact scenarios on a smaller scale of what methane gas bubbles errupting from the ocean floor would do to a ship or plane. Very interesting, and very feasable.

                            Re: The Bermuda Triangle

Ok, lets go with the methane gas theory. It's plausable and logical so i'm cool with it. So, This gas does whatever it does and capsizes ships or breaks them up or whatever. Bottom line is that they sink. Knowing that area has some of the deepest waters in the world i'm ok with nothing ever being discovered as well.

The problem i have with this explanation is that it offers no theory to what comes of debri that floats. Not everything on a ship sinks, not everything on a plane sinks. Look at the TWA disaster a few years back, there was debri on the surface for miles upon miles. I think its equally reasonable to expect something to be found from a ship or a plane. Something, there has to be something. For instance, how does a 600 ft cargo ship sink and nothing is ever found of it? how does two seperate DC-3's crash and there is nothing to be found. This is water, things float and it doesn't matter how deep the ocean floor is....

well I know for a fact they took a little 2 man sub down and found hundreds of planes that were lost but you make a good point It's probably aliens
