Well, first off, for any woman to pull off Barbie, she's going to have to be about 5'11" or 6'0" tall. Barbie is every bit as tall as Ken. Next, you will obviously need to get costumes that look like what Barbie wears and then you will need to advertise it.

At a bday party the kids and moms want activities, and mayber pictures with her. Like you take some digi shots and send them to party person who can send em to parents.
2. Put flyers on cars at the mall. New housing subdivisions, they have most kids.
3. Tell friends and family members.
4. Should be a "Party Supply" store in your area go there, chat em up, and offer a cut of action, like a finders fee, if you can put up a really good publicity shot, and your flyers.
5. Price it right, note you will probably have like 4 hours of labor into each event. Dressing, driving, 1.5 hours at party....( less is better, too long and they get bored ) drive home undress etc.
So, appearance fee should be around $300. Price entices, Price temps. Folks want the best for their kids.

^Actually ive seen ads in the city paper for female escorts for parties doing this kind of thing, but for men not little girls, lol. You have better watch out for her if shes going to do this sort of thing, cause if shes not chaperoned when shes doing this, she could end up alone with like 6-10 guys drinking, then what she gonna do?

I wouldn't bother offering a finder's fee at first...feel them out...just let the shop/s know what your doing and ask if you can put brochures or a flyer up.....also public bulletin boards all over town....put flyers! Colorful!
as far as price...call to see how much clowns charge first....do some research.... I use to do children's letters from Santa and the Easter Bunny and it was a blast.. then started my own web deisgn business which i still do very part-time....
keep receipts of EVERY CENT spent for tax purposed....
You should also go to the town office and register a DBA (doing business as) simple form with a small fee....just registers the business with the town. You can also call the state and they should have info on laws and such for starting a business in your state/area.
