Sure, why not? software is simple, barcodes- no problem...charge their credit cards- no big deal...and it will have more member interaction as they look for a movie...

if you have the staff, get er done!

plus, late fees will rake in the money!

you have to figure on what, 5 copies of each...20x5=100...do you have the storage?

IMHO, bad idea.

Too much opportunity for conflict and bad blood with clients, leading to bad referrals.

Everyone hates a late fee and always blames it on bbuster or what ever.

The amount of time effort and energy vs profit, I just don't see it being a winner.

Yet, like everything else I could be dead wrong.

Have u worked out the cost vs profit numbers, etc.

It can be a good idea, but you need strict rules as far as returing them and late fees, or ppl will keep them forever. Ive seen it happen at bbusters, and then the employees are timid and takes forever to collect. That there would prob pose a bad taste in some of your members, even if they are at fault, you know how ppl are. They want something for nothing, lol! Id sell them not rent them.

Instead of taking on too many new things, perfect what you've got first and THEN expand.

Dont be fooled by that. People say what you want to hear instead of being honest and to protect your feelings. I still think its worth a shot, just dont be swayed by the people who are under you. Find somebody that doesn't give a crap if he/she hurts our feelings or not, somebody with an unbiased opinion, not a member that thinks something will come out of in their favor.
