JACKSON ’S WIFE KIDNAPPED
Dexter Jackson's estranged wife was reportedly kidnapped and held at gunpoint for just under an hour Monday night (January 23), according to news agencies in Florida . The victim, Carol Jackson, told police that two men approached her in her garage wielding a gun just after she pulled in at 10 p.m. , and forced her back into her vehicle, a 2003 black Lexus. She was forced to drive them around for 45 minutes; at one point she was transferred to another car where a third male suspect drove. They allegedly asked where “big guy Dexter” was, but no other details were given on if, or if so why, they would be looking for him. The kidnappers finally dropped her off without harming her -- she walked three miles to a Jacksonville area steakhouse and called a family member for help.
Regarding the incident, Dexter said "Carol is fine, she is at home and is ok. Despite the reports, there are no problems between me and Carol. She is the mother of my child. We are separated now, things just happen in relationships. Carol is definitely shaken, but is better now. This was a carjacking, and they were staking Carol's house before this happened. It is hard for me, as a parent to go through this, seeing my kids all upset on this, it has gotten me shaken up. As a family, we will get through it. Whether Carol and I are together or not together, we will always be the best of friends forever. Sometimes relationships grow apart, but we will always be close friends. I will always love her, and will always love me, and that just how it is. I am currently living in a condo nearby."
Regarding the Arnold Classic, Dexter said "I am doing great for the Arnold, right on schedule. My training is going good, I am right on track to where I need to be. I think this years Arnold is the stiffest competition ever. I have respect for my competitors, especially Gustavo for what he has accomplished, he has come up tremendously. The same with Melvin, Victor, and the others. But I want to assure everybody that come Arnold Classic time, I will the best that I have ever been."
Regarding Dexter being ****y, as some people have said on the board "Some people say that I wouldn't take a picture with them. That isn't true. I respect my fans. I would never turn an autograph or a picture down, even if I am very tired."
Dexter is bypassing the Ironman Pro, and heading straight for the Arnold Classic. Expect to see Dexter in one of the best conditions ever come March 4th.
