DAMN HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE!!!!

I am so absolutely pissed off! Because I live in Florida our homeowners insurance just literally doubled! I am now paying the same amount a month for insurance, that I'm paying for the actual mortgage payment! And that's not even the worst part, they just said on the news that all companies will be charging more in the next month!!!!

I'm paying nearly $500 a month for a 1300 sq ft home!!!! That is absolutely ridiculous!

I'm so tired of hearing people sympathize for these insurance companies too! They say that "well they have to raise the rates because of all the money they paid out!" OH YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! What about all the years where there was no devastation and they were making money up the ass? Why should our rates go up? Because there were claims? Well last time I checked that's what your paying for. So what they basically are saying is that this is your price for insurance, but if you ever have to use it we will raise the price because we are counting on not having to pay you.

THIS IS BULLSHIT!!! That's not how it goes. As a business you win some, and you lose some. So they lost this time. It makes up for all the years they were winning! WHEN THE F@*K IS OUR GOVERNMENT GOING TO PUT THESE DAMN INSURANCE SCUMBAGS IN THEIR PLACE?!? These people are crooks! All insurance companies are crooks!

Think of it for one second.........What is one of the biggest complaints in our country? Insurance of course! Everywhere you go each state is ripping of the citizens with insurance have it be homeowners in florida, auto in NYC or CA, Health insurance across the board. This country is becoming unlivable!

When are people going to wake the F@*K up and start rallying against this shit? And why the hell are the gas prices now acceptable to everyone? Why is it not still front page news that we're getting raped at the pumps? No wonder everyone despises our country! We're a bunch of pussies that take it in the ass and do nothing about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just glad they do it by state. (sorry) But it's fair that way. I live in Colorado so I should not have to bear the weight of what happend in Florida on my rates. You live on the coast, you pay the price. What sucks is the people who are no where near the coast because they get slammed just for being in the state. The worse thing that could happen here would be a blizzard and those usually don't damage houses. State building codes require homes to have a certain pitch to keep snow from piling too high. There is flood possibilites for some homes, but that's a whole different insuarance.

But yeah, that sucks bro! It's just like medical insurance. I go to the doc about once every two years, my wife about once a year (besides female check ups) and my son goes a little more often but he's 3 so he has scheduled check ups and I feel we are low risk. BUT, you get a lot of expenses in my state and everyone has to pay more. It's bullshit if you ask me. It should be done on a per basis situation. If you live right on the coast your insurance should be 10,000 a month. Can't afford it? Then phuking move. That way, people who live inland don't have to pay so much. It will never happen, but that would be fair.

if insurance rates are so high, get into insurance cus OBVIOUSLY there is alot of money to be made. Might as well take advantage, and not let those fuckers get all the money.

Do you live near the coast? If not id drop the insurance, and just get a good alarm, smoke/monoxide detector near the furnace, and use good saftey precautions with electrical appliances. I would never, ever pay that price on a 1300 sqft home.

Do you live near the coast? If not id drop the insurance, and just get a good alarm, smoke/monoxide detector near the furnace, and use good saftey precautions with electrical appliances. I would never, ever pay that price on a 1300 sqft home.

It's not a possibility. It's a requirement when you have a mortgage by the bank to have homeowners insurance. I live probably about 5 minutes from the coast, but I am not in a designated flood zone at all. There hasn't been a hurricane that hit this area in close to 100 years! For some reasone it seems to always miss Tampa and the surrounding areas (Knock on wood). I don't think it's fair that they charge more just because they had to pay out, and because there were storms. That's why people pay money. For years they were making out like bandits.

I just don't think it's fair that they can charge me more a month on my insurance than my mortgage payment is. Health insurance is no better. They are all crooks. They don't care about us at all, they only care about their pockets. I would never get in that business because I wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror knowing that I'm screwing so many people out their that can barely make it by. This country makes me sick. We all just accept it as if it's not big deal, and like there's nothing that can be done. honestly until someone puts their foot down they are going to keep raping us!

It's not a possibility. It's a requirement when you have a mortgage by the bank to have homeowners insurance. So why aren't we dealing with them and lowering our gas prices dramatically?? People need to stop accepting this bullshit corporate america is throwing at us! People need to start *****ing and standing up for their rights! If we don't in the near future there will be two classess......Poverty Stricken & Insanely Rich. There will no longer be a middle class!

Start a lobby then. I forgot about the mortgage thing. I really would be looking for a job in another state, if i had to pay those rates. I pay $950. per yr on a 200,000 replacement, plus i think it is 130K total on personal property. This counts my outside shed and its contents.

Like I said Canada has trillions of gallons of gas literally, so why the f@*k are we still buying oil from middle eastern countries? Don't tell me it costs less to ship it from the other side of the world than it would to ship from canada! Plus why are we supporting these middle eastern countries when we could be buying from our neighbor? Those countries hate us, so why would we give them our money? I'll tell you why because the people that run this country are lining there pockets with stocks and interests that they have in middle eastern countries. They don't care about what's good for the citizens of this country. They care about what's good for their pockets!

Why do you think the government won't go after insurance companies for screwing us? Because these are the same companies that are paying large amounts of money to help these crooks campaign to run our country. So they are paying for that person to look the other way when they are in power. This country isn't run by people or politicians. It's run by corporations. Funny thing is people are too blind to see it!

People need to start boycotting by cutting back on their driving habits to lessen the amount of gas they use. They need to ***** about the prices, they need to write to their states, and government that they are tired of this shit! They need to stand in front of gas stations and picket the prices. We need to show that we are sick of the shit!

I'm sick of the fact that illegal immigrants children have health insurance paid for, yet people like myself don't have health insurance because premiums are just way to freaking high so if anything happens we're screwed.

I'm pissed that these insurance companies generalized the whole state rather than county by county when they increased premiums. It's not fair that my rates go up if my area hasn't been hit in forever, or since it's not in a flood zone. It's not fair that I am paying because other people made claims. It's absolute trash! That's like saying "well everyone one in your area has bad credit mr. johnson so even though you have a perfect credit score we're going to charge you the standard 50% interest rate!"

I'm sick of this crap and something NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!!!!!
