wow t-man, just read you're post after posted mine

hiking, action oriented, you see things, hear things, smell things, maybe even taste things on occasion---clean air etc. , and end up feeling different

that is an example of what i mean, it get's all of the senses involved

It's great! You just can't put into words walking through the mountains and then stopping at the side of a creek and just sit and listen to the water. Or, we will drive up to the top of Pikes Peak, which is over 14,000 feet, and just sit and look in amazment. It's breath taking. Did you know the song 'America the Beautiful' was inspired from the top of Pikes Peak? Once you go up there, you see why. I don't think I could ever move back to a place like Atlanta after living here.
