Re: Return of the Camaro & Dodge Challenger!!
Dodge trucks are the best looking out right now but not that fast at all! I was going to trade in my Silverado for a Hemi ram. But decided not when even my wife said "this thing is way slower than your truck don't trade your truck in!" and that's saying alot right there. The whole Hemi ram thing is all marketing. The only Dodge truck that is fast out there is the SRT 10. That thing is damn quick but it better be for $45,000! Honestly I put the pedal to the floor and that thing was not impressive at all!
I'm not a big fan of the new body style on the mustang, but I do think that once you add a body kit to it, it's a whole different car. It goes from being a mulletmobile to just plain sweet. I don't think either of those cars are going to be to much bigger than the new mustang. But I sure hope they follow suit and do the multicolored gauge displays like the new mustang has. That was a very cool idea on their part. I've got to give Ford credit for always being the first to take a chance though. Chevy never takes chances first. They always have to follow the leader. They didn't dare bring out an amazing vette until Ford rolled out their new Ford GT. Now chevy had no choice but to up the ante and make the new Z06 that will dust any vette ever made! But it took Ford doing something for chevy to make a move.
Chrysler on the other hand is just dominating the market. Their trucks are the best looking (but need more power), The neon SRT4 stock is exactly as fast as a new Mustang GT (I've seen this multiple times at Moroso speedway, plus even magazines have admitted this), The 300C is the classiest looking car in it's price range and it's got power to boot! The magnum is a sweet looking for a wagon & is fast too. The crossfire is an answer back to the 350Z and even though it's not as cool as the Z, it was a good attempt. The charger I think is ok but I don't like that they called it a charger because it in no way looks like the old charger. Kind of a let down in that aspect. But all in all Chrysler is on top of their game right now!
All I know is if those two cars come out there's going to be some horsepower wars between the big 3!
