I've got a cage but yeah frame sliders are fairing savers get some for your swingarm too....If your plastics are that bad check ebay they always have good deals on plastics
I am glad to hear that your bike is ok hehe well I guess I am glad that you are ok too. I am glad that you were able to walk away from everything it could have been a lot worse.
I CRASHED!! AS I WAS COMIN UP TO A LIGHT IT TURNED GREEN AND AS I BEGAN TO TO GO THROUGH IT A DAMN LADY TRIED TO MAKE THE TURN FIRST COMIN THE OTHER WAY...FAST. SHE FINALLY SAW ME AND SLAMMED ON BRAKES. I LAID THE BIKE OVER AND WENT SLIDING ON THE PAVEMENT. I GOT UP AND THE LADY TOOK OFF!! AFTER I GOT UP AND CHECKED THE BIKE AND MADE SURE IT AND I WAS OK - I WENT LOOKING FOR HER. SHE SPLIT! DAMMIT! NEITHER MY BIKE OR HER CAR TOUCHED, BUT IT WAS HER FAULT BECAUSE I HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY. AT LEAST I COULD HAVE GIVEN HER A FEW CHOICE WORDS!!
ANYONE ON THIS BOARD THAT RIDES A BIKE AND DOESNT HAVE GLOVES BOOTS AND A JACKET WITH PADDING IN IT IS CRAZY!! ALSO ANYONE HERE RIDING WITHOUT FRAME AND BAR SLIDERS IS NUTS! THEY SAVED MY BIKE. THE BIKE SLID ABOUT 25 FEET ON THE GROUND. ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT IT WAS "@#*%&!!!! ...ITS GONNA GET SCRATCHED!!!" LOL!! I HAVE A 2 INCH SCRATCH ON MY THE TAIL AND A HALF WAY GROUND DOWN FRAME SLIDER ON THE RIGHT SIDE. NOTHING ELSE WAS HURT.
I GUESS AFTER I GOT MY BIKES I THOUGHT, "IF I RIDE SAFE, AND BE DEFENSIVE - ILL BE OK".....WRONG!! THE DAMN FOLKS IN CARS ARE IDIOTS!! YOU WILL GO DOWN - ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME.

Glad you're ok O2....I had steel Vortex sliders and when I wrecked, those *****es broke right off like nothing was there....Plastic are much better for that....I guess you might want to get a cage
