they are probably low due to the deaths of people on the list.

I wonder if the young woman was able to donate any of her organs or if the parents let her. Possibly not because of the circumstances?

Seems like a basic screw up. Probably some mislabeling of a sample. Plus, it was a very ambitious transplant to begin with - heart and lungs; jeez, that's gotta be hard to do once, nevermind twice.
It very sad now that she didn't make it.
