I've read and enjoyed the books. I saw the movie and was amazed. The special effects were truly outstanding! Everything looked real. It's truly a wonderful movie.
As far as the books and film being Christian-like, what difference does it make. Why do critics always mention this. (By 'critics' I don't mean any of your guys here). So Clive Lewis was Christian and included similarities in his books and the Bible, so what. If his stories were raunchy with foul language and more adult themes, people would complain about that.
The bottom line is this: It's an awesome movie. Some people may not like sci-fi/fantasy themes, but the story and visuals were superb.

          [RIGHT][/
The reason I went to see it was specifically because C.S. Lewis wrote it and I wanted to see if they kept it true to the book. You can find a specific agenda that the writer/director is trying to portray in every movie, just like in songs everything has meaning to it. Why watch it or listen to it if it doesn't.
