Ok, first off keep it clean. Yes, Islam is taught to hate Jews and Christians. It's in the Quran. I know because I have personally read it. But, just like there are Christians that don't take the Bible literally there are Muslims who do not take teh Quran literally. It's the same with all religions. Also, it's not like they are standing in line to be suicide bombers. Many Muslims don't have the guts to actually carry out the act and the ones that do are too stupid to get into the US these days.

Now, lets talk Christian to Christian PL. Do you or do you not believe EVERYTHING is in Gods hands? If you truely are an authentic believer then you do. With that said, it doesn't matter what you do because God will get his way. No matter what intel could have come up, if God wanted to allow the Twin Towers to be attacked, they were getting attacked. If God want's to allow a suicide bomber to blow up a coffee shop in San Fran, it's going to happen. There is nothing we can do to stop the will of God, nothing. Just look at Sadam and Gomora, the Flood, the Asyrian and Persian Destruction of teh Jews, and all the other blood shed that God allowed to take place to prove his point. Maybe, just maybe God is pissed at the US. The Jews were his chosen people, yet he allowed them to be all but totally wiped out because they refused to keep the law. Maybe the US is the next Sadam and Gamora. If so, there is nothing you can do about it.

All you can do is be what you are supposd to be and share the word. Insulting people and calling people small brained is not doing God justice. I like you, but you are making a bad name for Christianity with your insults towards those who don't agree with you. Just state your position and be done with it. It's not your job to save anyone, it is your job to be an example that glorifies God. Judging people and insulting people does not glorify God.

Pl have you ever heard of the phrase "Scare Tactics"? Like a few mentioned our government is simply trying to get as much power as they can. I find it amusing how this is supposed to be a free country! Yeah compared to what, North Korea?

Here's a great explanation for what's going on in this country. Pl was bashing internet porn on a previous thread. Maybe it is bad, maybe it's good. Whatever the case die hard catholics like him are the types of people that would make it illegal if he had the power to. (nothing personal PL but this is a debate)

See, in their minds anything that is seen as bad or wrong should be illegal. For instance the whole craze with the video game Grand theft auto San Andreas. All of these die hard christians were up in arms because a video game had sexual content in it. They even had it pulled off of the shelves. They argued how sex on a video game is uphauling because it's meant for kids. Funny because if you turn the game over it has a rating of MA which stands for MATURE! Since when does mature refer to children? Mature games are meant for adults 18 & over. So that would leave the problem in the hands of the parents, that don't care enough about their kids to check into things before they buy it for them. So how is it fair that a game that I personally loved, gets pulled off of the shelves because some parent doesn't know how to do their job? That's taking away from my freedom! Freedom is about having the right to choose. Well they took that right from me! What next chocolate ice cream is going to become illegal because they no longer like the taste? I'm sorry but so many of the baby boomer generation don't realize that the biggest bulk of gamers are in their 20's & 30's. So shouldn't there be adult themed games to cater to this group?? Here's another thing, my wife just bought me a game for my xbox called Playboy the mansion. The object is to bang chicks and take pictures of them naked while you create an empire. So how come no one targeted this game if video game sex is so bad? I'll tell you why, because the title is Playboy and parents knew that was not for kids Thus proving that the reason GTA San andreas got pulled is because parents weren't doing their freaking job so they took it out on the manufacturer! It was labeled clear as day but Catholics pushed the envelope and took from our rights!

Howard Stern is another great example. The FCC is constantly on his shows ass for content. Well I'm sorry but they should mind their own business. I've heard so many parents (including my own mother) say that the show should be pulled off of the air. They always argue the point that they shouldn't have to hear that, and that kids might listen to that. Funny, cause last time I checked most people are born with this thing that god gave us called free will. It was given to us for a reason. If you don't like it, pick up your arm and turn the station! Very simple! If your kids are listening then your not doing your job as a parent! It's as simple as that! But yet these people all say how turning the channel is not enough. It's poisoning the minds of americans. Man if that doesn't sound like a cultest type thing to say. It doesn't matter if I personally enjoy the show. Why should I as an intelligent adult be able to make my own decision(note the sarcasm!)? Again proving my point that if a catholic disagree's with something that it should be illegal. People shouldn't have the right to make their own decision. Right??

You might say what does all of this have to do with the Patriot Act? It's this Christian regime that is in power in this country. Anything that Bush and his followers disagree with they make illegal. Anything they can do to monitor what americans are doing they make legal. They are infringing on our rights and trying to form us into what their beliefs are. If you notice who the majority of the Bush supporters are, it's 9 times out of 10 a bible thumping catholic! Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the bible or being a christian. It's when you FORCE your beliefs on other people, and simply try to make people believe that things are wrong simply because you disagree with it. That's just one persons opinion!

I'm sick of these idiots running this country like it's a church! This country is infringing on the rights of all the people that don't have the same beliefs. There are many forms of religons, that's why this country is supposed to be run like a democracy. Freedom of Speech & Religon! How is any of the stuff that I mentioned, or half the stuff Bush has pulled since he's been in power freedom of speech or religon?

Another thing I love how the border thing is always mentioned. Boo hoo for the poor illegal immigrants that pour through our borders explointing our country and killing our wages! Yeah their good people and just trying to make a buck. FINE DO IT IN YOUR OWN DAMN COUNTRY!!!! I love how people always say they take the jobs americans wouldn't want anyway. Have you ever gone on a Federal construction site? I helped build the NIH in Maryland and 80% of the 2000 people that worked there were immigrants (half of which were illegal!) For those of you that don't know what the NIH is it's the place the president goes when he needs medical attention. I asked why there were so many immigrants and I was told by the foreman that the government gives the job to the companies that hire minorities. WOW WAS THAT AN EYE OPENER! Whatever happened to equality? I though giving jobs based on skin color was illegal? But of course our government wants to do anything they can to help everyone else except their own citizens! Construction jobs used to pay amazing and still pay pretty well (Carpenters $22-$30 hr, Electricians $26-$60 hr and so on and so forth), but the wages have been consistently dropping because these illegals come in and companies would way rather pay them a 1/4 of what they pay the average american. The same jobs I was making $25 hr at in Maryland was paying less than $14 in Florida!!! Why you may ask? Because there is a crazy amount of immigrants in Florida so labor is cheap! But yeah who wants a construction job! Who wants to actually work with their hands and not sit on their ass at a desk all day? Because construction workers are looked down upon right? Funny thing is most of those jobs that are frowned upon make a ton more than your average desk job! So go on with your righteous rants of freedom for people that aren't even American citizens!

BTW, my father in law is french Canadian and legally got into this country along with his wife. How is it fair that he had to go through the process of getting a green card and legally migrating, but all these other people don't? It's people like him that are what make this country great! Like the classic immigrants that came from Ireland, Italy, Germany etc. etc. who made this country flourish. That type of immigration is good! Hardworking people that made this country great. These days we get the illegals that live off of our system, Take all of our jobs, Cut our wages, Drive up crime rates, and exploit our country. If they were here to make a better life and better this country they would come over just like everyone else!

So why are they making laws to monitor Americans when their not even monitoring who's coming into this country illegally? Are people that stupid that they don't realize that if mexicans and cubans are pouring into this country by the boatload that terrorists could to!! Monitoring Americans is not whats needed. Monitoring our borders is!!
