richard prior was very funny.... he had balls to be able to stand up and make jokes about his drug habbit and all sorts of crazy shit he did. RIP

I have to admit i really didn't care for his comedy, but i guess he was the first of his kind, making practical jokes in breaking the black barriers. He did overcome his addiction, but is too bad that MS took such a toll on a person so quickly. My late aunt had it since early adolesence and finally passed from complications due to it in her 70's. Im sure he will always be remembered as an icon of black comedy.
