I've downloaded norton virus software onto my computer but during the installation I get the following error message: "Error 25048.A Disk Drive Overlay (DDO) was found on boot disk. Norton Go Back does not support DDO on Windows 2000 or XP."
Can someone please explain what this may be and how do I fix this error? Thanks.

1. Disk Drive Overlay software was used on your old hard drive. DDO
software was used a lot Back In The Day to get older machines to
recognize larger hard drives.
2. You apparently had Norton Goback installed on the old system, which
is incompatible with DDO and XP. It should have been uninstalled before
attempting any cloning.
