Early Bird Specials? HUH!?

Got up at 5 in the morning today to get the "specials", but anything that is on special is garbage. You won't find for example, an ipod nano on sale. So this was the first year and last year that I will get up early to go shopping. The good thing is that I finished all my christmas shopping today

Agreed, nothing good was on special/sale! Like others have said, it is just to get people in the stores and in that shopping mood, so then a percentage of them end up making the big purchases as well.
