So the story is this. We are going to MY folks house for Thanksgiving this year instead of the in-laws as usual. I have been looking forward to my mom's cooking for Thanksgiving for months now. Well yesterday my throst started getting a little scratchy and got a bit congested. I'll be damned if I am sick tomorrow and miss out on Thanksgiving with my family and the homecooking from mom! I started pumping Echinacea yesterday evening, had some chicken soup and have been taking Vit. C, Garlic, Zinc and drinking lots of tea with lemon. So far I have staved off the cold and am only about half way into a full blown cold. Does anyone else have any tips or tricks that work for you to knock out a cold fast? I also have a gig this weekend, so I will need my voice for that as well...its just a terrible week to get sick.

Aerobics: a series of strenuous exercises which help convert fats, sugars, and starch into aches, pains and cramps! (that's why I don't do 'em LOL)

Re: QUICK Cold Cures...help!
Thanks! My wife has been telling me the same thing, but I have two VERY large pieces of business I have to sign off on today at work before the holidays hit. As soon as that is done off to bed I go...I did sleep until 8:30 today so that was good.

Re: QUICK Cold Cures...help!
I get upper resp infections and the only thing that will help is an anti-biotic. I use Avelox and take it once ed, i started off with Biaxin then i built up a resistance to it, the Agumentin, then Effexor, now its Avelox lol!
