I agree, but you have to understand these large companies, it is a numbers game, and if their not reaching their projections here they outsource, and it is cheaper so they make more profit. Yes, if we lived in a utopia where everything were perfect it would be nice, but realistically if you can get labor much cheaper and the workmanship is better, you make more profit then ask yourself, if you are a business owner where are you going to invest your working capitol? If you are bitting your nose to spite your face it is not to your benefit, yes?? I buy what i want with my money. If i can get a vehicle say for same price as "american", and it is of much better quality and workmanship, and clothes, and better prices on food, then where am i going to buy?, yes where im getting the better bang for the buck. It is time corporate America realizes this, and instills better quality in products and workers ethics that come first not how fast production is. This is why more than half of our production and importing comes from other countries. Look at Asia market for example, we send most of our work/production to them, how much business of importing our product and resources do they give us?? They are very smart in business, and we need to learn more of their business stratigies to become sucessful and to make our economy rise. -

NAFTA is in accordance with the laws of this great country. However, it puts hard working Americans out of jobs so the less privelged can build the same product for $2 an hour in other countries. THAT I have a problem with. I do NOT support illegal aliens in this country. But I don't support sending our jobs to those same people in their own country

To answer your question, no i do not agree with ppl working illegally in this country, but untill our government cares enough to do something really proactive about it, then it will continue to our disadvantage.

Now, I hope no one takes this offensively. Be it beyond me to be racist. I am not a racist. I hate everyone equally. But I really honestly do live "In the hood". There has been a 400% increase in Latin Americans over the past 3 years in my area. Now, with the Mexicans, I can leave my house at 6:00am and see 20 of them standing on every corner waiting to be picked up for work. EVERY MORNING. Before the Mexicans came to town, I would never see 20 homies standing on the corner waiting to be picked up for work. The only homies I saw standing on the corner were waiting for me to stop my car at the stop sign so they could car jack me. Now, while they may be illegal in this country, undoubtedly they work their asses off and add something to society.

Well, i think there are "homies" that are hard workers, but i understand where you are comming from. I do agree though that, and i won't say only Mexicans, because i have seen some that are just as no-compliant with work as the "homies". On the majority though, yes alot of foreign workers will work very hard and for less than half of what US workers will even think about. Most of the blue collar workers in usa, all they are interested in is their paychecks and how much time it is before the get off work, lol. Hell, i even see it in the white collar, you get younger college grads that want to start at the top, and think they are above working up the ladder. I hate to say, but i think alot of that has to do with how they are rasied by their parents, or if they are even around to teach while they are growing up.

To be honest though, i don't like the layout of WalMart, lol! They have so much junk that i get overwhelmed and walk out. I rather go to like Meijer that we have here or Kroger then go to healthfood store for other things. Whole Foods is prob the largest here.

Depends where you live. Here in Boston we have Wall-Mart that has marble floors, escalators, security and is very nicely organised. The workers are mostly foreigners and the only place you`ll see American working is somewhere in the management/supervisory and other office departments..

Merc, I honestly think nobody gives a damn where you shop or what you think about illegal workers. Yes, trying to come in a country illegaly is obviously ILEGAL but people are starving to death..at least they come here and work their asses off and they don`t even get PAID for the hard and earned work they do.

You sound like the person who supports Bush and all.. patriotic..

I don`t see many Americans working for low incomes these days.. nobody works for at least under $9 .. do you know how many foreigners work at $6 or even under... MANY.. So.. would you hire all Americans and pay them $9 who are lazy and don`t wanna work or someone $6 who gets the job done..

The bottom line is I don`t support illegal workers.. but its not like they are coming here and working for the goverment.. they don`t go far or get behind the computers.. its the shovel..and other dirty physical jobs..

Also I know MANY guys that have to work 3 or even more jobs cuz their fat lazy ex wifes are collecting child support while laying on the sofa eating mcdonalds all day long..
