I JUST BOUGHT BABY FUZO HER FIRST GOLD FISH. BOUGHT THE BOWL AND FOOD AND GRAVEL AND SALT AND WELL WHAT EVER COMES WITH IT.IT SAID TO CLEAN THE GRAVEL SO I DUMPED IT IN A STRAINER IN THE SINK OOPS GRAVEL WENT INTO THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL.NOW I HAD TO TAKE THE DISPOSAL APART AND GET THE GRAVEL OUT. WELL AFTER A FUC-ING HOUR WE OUR PROUD PARENTS OF A GOLD FISH. HOPE IT LIVES THROUGH THE NIGHT.LOL

My daughter has one named Matt. Had it for six years now, It just won't die. lol I'm the one that always has to clean everything.
LOL that's how it goes...my son wanted a rat and i DIDN'T!! He cleaned the cage all of a dozen times in 2 years....

I did the same thing and just ran water down the sink to wash the gravel out of the disposal. LOL! We got the whole tank, heater and everything. We have one fish from the original startup. It's a Neon Tetra. We didn't get any true Goldfish becasue they polute the sater too fast. My son just calls them 'fishies'.
