My dog Heidi got into a fight with a rattle snake today and before I could do anything she was bitten on the top part of her head. She died this afternoon and I have litterally felt like shit every since!!!!!! This dog was my life for the past year!!!

Sorry to hear about that DS. My dog has gotten bit by two rattlesnakes 5 months apart from each other but luckily she survived. Both times on the nose.

Sorry bro! I know how tough it is to lose a dog. I went for a long time without one jsut because I get too damn close to my dogs. That's one thing I don't miss about the south, the damn rattlesnakes and cotton mouths. Of course, here we have mountain lions and bears so I don't know which is worse.
