Ah nate, im a young buck, and not great w/ relationships at all. but fora guy i like a lot it was hard to read that first half b/c i cant stand to see guys who i have respect for cheat-- but glad things got figured out!

Wow, Nate I feel your pain - something similar happened to me, but I won't get into it. I'm glad everything worked out for the best, and that your relationship is stronger as a result.

And incidentally, your commute is worse than mine! I never thought I'd see that.

If I had found something like that, I would asked him outright ...if he said he didnt know, I'd probably say, lets' look up the address and call her then, find out who it is....lol

About a week into it she did end up finding the phone number to the ladies house. You know where? In some past phone bills..1 from my house to hers and 1 from hers to mine. Of course we now know that her friend roxanne was the one that placed and recieved those calls while they were staying at my house...but, in present time it was just more evidence to make me look bad and further her beliefs that i had in fact cheated on her...

I'M GLAD TO HERE IT ALL WORKED OUT. I WATCHED A FRIEND GO THROUGH A PROBLEM LIKE THIS...FOR 2 YEARS HIS WIFE JAMMED ON HIM FOR CHEATING, AND HE NEVER DID. IT FINALLY RUINED THEIR MARRIDGE AFTER 16YRS. SHE JUST WOULDNT EXCEPT IT, AND HE WOULDNT LIVE THROUGH HELL ANYMORE....GLAD TO HERE YOUR'S WENT THE OTHER WAY

i'm curious to hear about what your wife's response was after the fact!

After convincing herself that i did what she thought i did, she accepted it and did her best to bury it. When the truth came out she was very hesitant to accept it and actually needed alot of convincing. She was hurt and hurt bad and she wasn't about to let it all come back and hurt her more. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster of the most extreme sense....

But like i had said earlier, I completely understood why she was feeling this way and if the shoe was on the other foot i would have done the same thing, if not something worse. I actually thought somebody was setting me up, everytime i turned around there was more and more eveidence that was not in my favor...

I never wanted her to apologize to me, i never wanted her to feel bad for doing what she did, i just wanted her to feel better about herself and to finally put all this to rest. I can't even imagine what she was thinking or what she was feeling during those few months...I could only try to be there for her, even though i was the last thing she wanted near her....
