I thought it was pretty good. It's not like you should be expecting an epic film here. It's Rob Freakin Zombie, what tells you that there will be nothing but dark evil gore with extreme undead undertones? Sure the plot was weak but, so what. The movie was about the characters and the settings while showing a very disturbed but totally happy lifestyle of a pretty wacked out family...Its Dark, it's evil and there is alot to look at...that said, i think he did a pretty good job and frankly, i really liked it. The over the top characters were great imo...
