Who plays paintball here????

So I went out for the first time and played paintball on Saturday. That was way more fun than I thought it would be! It's like being dropped in a real military mission, accept when you get shot your not dead. If anyone here hasn't tried it before I highly advise you to give this a try. I guarantee you'll be hooked!

I got shot once in the neck, and once in the face. No marks though. Lucky for me the person who shot me must have had a weaker gun.

For any of you guys that are into paintball is there any guns/equipment that you recommend?

Have played with friends a few times, loads of fun! They had these killer automatic guns though and I had this peice of $hit of pump one shot gun. They wasted me but still had a great time. Back when I was like 16 we were playing at night in a cemetary with no eye protection and I got shot in the eye. Hurt like a mofo, thought I was gonna be blind in that eye but all turned out ok just little peices of the shell in my eye.
Stupid things we did as kids, that being said I reccomend eye protection...lol

I use to play quite a bit back in the day, and yes I know about the SL-68 pumps they rented too. Balls breaking in the barrel when you really had to lay some paint sucked. I remember when we played some Vietnamese kids, talk about play dirty these a$$holes would whipe paint left and right. I still have an ol' skool VM-68 semi. You can wind up paying thousands for a bad a$$ed gun nowadays. Just check out whats popular at your field, talk to the dudes at the field. You can usually find'em pretty affordable under $300 for something decent. For head protection find something light, and make sure it covers your face and throat well. JT and Leader are some good ones. Allthough I perfer the JT's with the double anti-fog lens. Check out paintball magazine or look around on the web, its still pretty popular, even though the ol' skool motley crue military in the woods playing kinda went out to the dirt biker garbed indoor arena speed ball snobs.

Yeah I didn't like the speedball as much as the forest matches. Some of those dudes had automatics and those guns were insane.

Oh yeah ! I loved the ol' skool cammo garbed seek and destroy matches in the woods. More of a challenge with the terrain and weather, no fancy high dollar gear, plus you got more of a brotherhood among y'all,..post game beer and barbeque too !lol

I havn't played paintball but a lazergame. The same but at least you stay clean and it's not painfull so girls can play. That was fun. That reminded me playing at doom when I was a kid

Bro if you like lasertag then you'll love paintball! I used to play lasertag when I was younger and that was really fun. This is a whole different thing.

And medic your right on the being more like a brotherhood thing. Nothing better than well coordinated attacks rather than being rambo and doing it all on your own!

I'm sure I would love paintball... but I'm a bit afraid of beeing shot on some parts of my body which are still sensitive since my bike accident last year. But I may try later with my bros...
