needing some help

not very much do i discuss my personnal life on here. but this has become my family just like i was related to all u guys. Ive cried everyday for a week now and just gets worse. A guy here at the gym one of my workout buddies needs as much in prayers as a person can get. His wife last friday went out and never came home. finally he got up with her sat morning..she says she no longer wants to be married . after 10 yrs of marriage she would rather goto bars and club'n than be a mother and wife. simple as that ! i dont know how many nights now he has been home with the kids while she wet out with her friends! He is in alot of heartbreak now even to the point he was put in hospital over it!....to make things even worse they done some ests on him to check other things..now he has found out that his heart is growing and will give out anytime. it could be today , tommorrow or 15 yrs from now! so in one weeks time he has lost his wife and marriage and now told he could and will die anytime! he is very devasted as u can imagine. my heart breaks so much for this man. everyone that knows him say s u will not find a better person and i have to agree! that is pretty much the overview of it ! all when can do is ask for whatever in our prayers. It is really takin a toll on me as well to see such a good person go thru this !

thanks alot tram. its not been just me supporting him. everyone says he is like a john wayne or hoss cartwright type of person very good morales and values..just sad!

Well, very sorry to hear this about your friend Space. I have been thru a very similar situation long ago, but thank God no children were involved. Usually there is some sign of something going on before hand though. Maybe there is another man involved. It is hard to believe a wife would leave her husband and children because she just wants to go to clubs. Maybe she married too young and now wants to sew her oats per se'. I would bet though that there is another man. Reguardless, has your friend really talked to his wife in depth about this to find out exactly what is going on?? There has to be other issues going on here that are not being said. If she is pent on this, he needs to end it quickly for his kids sake and get over it as quickly as possible. I know it is very hard, especially after 10yrs, but he must do everything he can to help himself and his health, as he has others to think about.

i think mick she got married to young and wants to just run.. she hangs around and goes out with ages 17 to 22 yrs old to clubs etc.. and she is in early 30's

As for the wife....Mick did hit on a few good points about getting married young, etc....I wish them the very best in seeing thru this

Who cares why she left or why she felt the nedd to leave. Bottom line right now is his health and dwelling over this will just increase his chances of something going wrong. Sure it's hard to get over ( I can't imagine what i would do if my wife did the same) BUT, it's about him and his kids, not her...Fuck her, she's the one missing out over childish reasons. If she wants to party instead of watching her marriage and her kids grow then thats her problem, they're better off without her! Hopefully he gets over this and becomes a stronger man because more times than not the wife returns after she's had her fill of fun and it takes a HORRIBLE person to abandon their children, especially when it comes to a mother. I suspect she will return and try to work things out, he needs to be a very strong person to tell her how it is and to get lost.

Oh, one thing i will stress even thou it is nomb. If he decides to get a divorice, make it quickly, and make sure he gets full custody of the kids and has all the I's dotted and T's crossed legaly, because like Nate said, after her fling, if that is what it is, she could possibly come back and want full custody, especially if there is another man involved, and that im sure would crush him, having the kids call another man Daddy.

When my parents split after 15 years it nearly killed my dad, and HE WAS A JERK! I can only imagine what your buddy is going through. I saw my dad get so low in depression, had to take pills and stuff, but after a while he got it together. I hope your friend keeps his chin up and gets through this. Our prayers go out to him and his kids for sure. There are so many jerks out there in the world, it just hurts to hear about good people going through such trying times. Props to you for caring enough to start this thread, good of you man.
