i was in the subway when the first plane hit. when i got out of the train, i can see smoke in the sky. when i got to my building, i could see the one tower hit. 5 minutes later, the second plane hit. thats when i knew this was not gonna be fun. 30 minutes later the first tower came down. then the second. mass hysteria on the streets. ill never forget that day.

              Re: REMEMBER THE LOST

I remember writing the date on something and thinking damn today is 9/11, like the emergency number. Not two minutes later I heard the news and felt so numb, so sorry for the people and their families, and utterly disappointed in the human race.

I'd like us all to think hard about at what point in our lives are we going to start acting like human beings. When will we exist on this planet without worrying about being victims of violence or having violent tendencies towards others. When? We've been out of the trees for 25,000 years and that's (violence) the best solution to our problems that we can come up with? Come on man, we can do better than that.

Peace is a beautiful thing. More people, from all countries and religeous backgrounds, should try it. JMO

I was sleeping and my neighbor called me to wake me up and just said "TURN ON YOUR TV TURN ON YOUR TV!" I will never forget the awe I felt as I watched the one burning and the second one get hit. God bless all those families changed on that day

                    Re: REMEMBER THE LOST

I remember like it was yesterday. The night before I went to the Broncos Monday night game against the Giants. It was the first regular season game played in the new stadium and it was the night McCafferty broke his leg. We got home so late that night that I slept in and was going to work late. So I flipped on the tube and watched live as the second plane flew into the other building. When I got to the gym the owners son said close it and put a sign up. His family all lived in Manhattan and he couldn't reach any of them so he told everyone to take the day off and be with their families. So, I sat at home and just watched over and over and just got pissed off beyond words. God Bless all those who lost family in that cowardly attack on our great country.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
