My ex had one. It isn't as easy as it looks. I worked out on it a couple o times. My new man has Ironmaster double system. It's very nice too. When we finish with our downtown loft, it will have a home gym compete with treadmill, bike, benches, Ironmaster system and a Total gym. He's got a pretty good set up.
Oh, when my sleazy ex received his Boflex apparently no one signed for it. They just left it on his door step. Later I found out he claim it didn't come. After the claim investigation via Boflex & UPS, he canceled the order. Never paid for the Boflex. That's not the only thing he stole... if it wasn't tied down he'd take it.

I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT!!
HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!
I bought a whole squat rack, with lots of things to adjust, a olympic bar, 500lbs of weight, I can pretty much do everything I need (I like to stick to compound excersises. I am sure the bowflex will be good for getting toned but adding size, I have trouble believing that. It is a smooth machine though, does it work with progressive resistance, ie gets harder at the top of the movement?

Yup, when I worked out at home I had the same deal. It was a power rack with pulldown/row attachments, had plenty of dumbells and a chin/dip deal. I wound up sellin all of it to a buddy of mine cause where I moved to there just wasn't any room.
I have an Ironmaster from when I was 16; those things last. I use mine now as a "plan b". Of course, if I had the knowledge that I have now, i probably would have just got a squat rack, a barbell, a bench and some weights. My joints don't always want to follow the predetermined motion.
