yea...i've heard this on the radio this morning. appearently the "looter" stories where written by the assoc. press. in america and the "found" story was written by the assoc. press from france, covering the story. i dont know if that's true or not, but the radio jockey's were all over that story

3 days!!!! That's how long they had to evacuate!!! And ohh I know some couldn't but if they can wade through water they could walk at least 8-10 miles each day and wouldn't be stuck where they are now!!!!

that is interesting...I think taking food though is not looting since you have to have it to live. Now on the other hand the guy with the beer I would call that looting too

while i dont condone stealing of any kind i do understand one choosing to do so to feed one's family. now the folks stealing anything other than neccesities are looters and should be delt with as all thieves should. these are desperate times for many of these very poor folks. many are good people. we see the pics of the few that are trash regardless of race
