I CAN HEAR MY COMPUTER HUMMING AND ITS LOUD.IS THERE A PROBLEM. SOME TIMES IT GOES AWAY AND LIKE RIGHT NOW I CAN HEAR IT

probably your fan or CPU....try popping the casing off and spraying off the dust with just air........could be too that one of those 2 things are going bad but not neccessarilyLast edited by Guest; 08-22-2005, 01:19 PM. -

my thoughts too...dust in the fan is the first thing i would look at for the humming. get a can of air at office depot and spray off all the dust inside the case. see if that helpsOriginally posted by Equalizer

Remove the fan Blow the dust off the fan then Peel the sticker on the fan remove the rubber plug and drop one drop of 3 in 1 oil in and replace rubber plug and press the stickers back on and reinstall the fan.
