well she knew what was bothering me and why these things were bothering me before i told her she had talked to my g/f and she mentioned what was going on in my life, well it was crazy and because she listened so well and made me feel good to talk to someone i will be talking to her again she told me why i drink so much and what i fel at teh stages of my drinking and how and the reasons for getting out of control and what all these things mean and how to get past this and she wants me and tiff to come to church with her again i went once before with her ( she goes to school with tiff but me and her talking is between me and her not her, me and tiff)

yea bro drinking to cope never works it just makes it worse, ive been there and it just made me miserable.....just gotta face the problems do what needs to be done and live life and dont sweat the small stuff, drinking will just further depress u and make u to where if u arent drunk u arent happy and that isnt something u want to get used to. Excellent Byron,
It's like having a training partner, and trying to achieve any goal. Best suggestion is to make a commitment for six months, it takes time to work through lot's of these things. Most folks unfortunately have a little success think it's all okay, stop going, and walla few months down the road back where they started and feeling worse about it, and negative about counseling.
Curious, and only if you feel comfortable sharing, what were her insights?

trip she mosty was going through how i felt i and how she knew that i felt that way, she wants to get more indepth next time i talk it was more or less me just trying to open up she didn't push for me to talk she did most of the talking! she is a very sperichal person and she talked a lot about god and how she has been praying ALOT sing tiff told her of my troubles and she feels that god wants me to talk ans some styuff like that!Comment

Cool Byron, if it feels right, go with it. If it doesn't feel right later on down the road you can always find someone else.
