There is some truth in what you say, that is for sure. But unless you have actually read the Quran (which I have) you don't understand the brainwash that is put in their heads. Who do you think is committing all the suicide bobmings in Iraq? Not our guys, but Muslim extremists. That the facts. Now, is there a way to make money off of this? Sure, there is a way to make money on ANYTHING!

But that's not the point, the point is that there is a Muslim extremist coalition. There is no doubt about it. Are we directly threatened by it? Not as much as before, but there is always the possiblity. You need to understand the enemy. They are the 21st century ****** but worst. Nobody knows who the hell they are until they blow themselves up in a car, coffee shop, train, or whatever. This is real. But, like I said, are we in direct threat, probably not anymore. Our security is up and we are more cautious.

Surely you don't actually believe that these suicide bombers are a hoax do you? Or that the there really isn't any eminitity between Muslims and Chritians or Jews? I know there is. How? The Quran says so!

Hmmm...I just noticed something interesting. I was copying from different online sources and one version of a verse was different than the same verse on another site. So, after some seriouse back and forth research I found one site to be much more extreme in its translations than the other. Both were very similar but one was very extreme. I wonder why and who made it that way?

I respect that. If you took every denomination of Christianity you would find many non-biblical practices. This is what you call unauthentic Christianity. One who is truely faithful to Christianity will practice it as it's written to the best of their ability. One who twists the words of it to practice what they want is in the wrong. Now, as far as Christianity goes the Bible says the same thing in every denomination. However, many denominations take things way out of context and teach those things. This is why we don't all agree. This is also why I do my one on one Bible study with a Pastor who can speak, read and write Greek and Hebrew. This guy understands the original writings of the Bible and therefore can easily translate it. It's very interesting to read a verse in english and then have him read it in Greek or Hebrew and tell you what the original is saying. The translations are very close but sometimes there are words that can't translate perfectly and you need to know Greek or Hebrew to understand. For instance, I have a buddy who is from the Dominican Republic and we went to the Latin bar one night. I asked him to translate one of the songs and he said, "it loses it's meaning in English". Very interesting, don't you think?

Aside from the loss of life, we now face a larger problem. Weather or not this IS our fault or not is irrelevant. In a practical world where things are never black and white we cannot afford to worry ourselves with the way things "should" be. We simply have what we have, and what we have to work with. And what we have in my opinion is every other nation blaming this on the US (not publicly of course... behind closed doors), which no matter how gung ho and patriotic you are... is going to be a problem for us. (don't buy it? Watch fox and cnn for the next week or so and see what other countries start saying...) We need inteligence assets and other services that these countries have provided in the past. Bush needs to pull his head out of his ass, cut the patriotic rethoric... this ignorant cowboy act that only pleases a few conservative morons... and start kissing ass and doing some behind the scenes coalition building to get us in some back doors so we can start doing some serious damage the same way these insurgents do.

Tram, i'm with you... fight fire with fire. But let's do it smart... we are battling a very inteligent and agile enemy that hides amongst a civilian population and strikes without warning. We must become more manuverable and flexible and infiltrate their networks and develop more intelegence assets in the middle east. This isn't going to happen if bush keeps pissing people off and acting like john wayne and speaking out of ignorance to get a higher poll rating so he can pass more conservative agenda items.

Again, not that what he is doing is "wrong"... and things might "should" be the way he says they should be. What he says is idealistic and perhaps to a few "the right course". But should never gets anything done. Take what you actually have, stop denying and ranting, improvise and overcome.

Just my thoughts.
