This true as well ^........being the area I live in you get rednecks that think because a guy has on nice clothes and takes care of himself he is a pretty boy and not much a fighter or for some reason cant defend himself, i love proving them wrong but it still weighs on your mind sometimes, at least it does mine.

Very good points from all above. Fighting never really ends up with a positive result, it can teachpeople small lessons though and sometimes they do deserve it, but we always have to weigh out risk versus benefit, what do we really care if we "teach" someone a lesson? Its not like we care about the dumb shit who needs to get beat down, and most the time they are too gone to even learn what they should anyways. Even if we win it comes with a cost.

I've a rib that overlaps the cartilage from a fight that I won, but my rib will never be the same (the hospital said there's nothing they can do, and it hurts/is uncomfotable still when I sleep on that side), and afused knuckle. And I can even remeber what I was fighting about either of those times, all I know is the damage from them is still there. I even ripped my favorite shirt in a fight once, that really pissed me off and I wanted to go fight the guy again after I woke up lol.

Even worse than those reason is the possiblity/reality that the guys that deserve to get their asses kicked are no the smartest, and are likely little shits who want to get revenge by using guns, knives, bats, and unfairness.

I have a knuckle that stays tender and its slightly larger then the others but nothing you notice until i make a fist, what is that? i mean its been like that for years (5-6) and gets real real tender after a fight but i havent been in one since there was snow on the ground.

SCAR TISSUE, SMALL TISSUE DAMAGE, POSSIBLE A BROKEN BONE I HAVE ABOUT 5 BROKEN METACARPELS IN MY HAND THEY FEEL GOOD MOST OF THE TIME UNLESS I'M TRAINING ON HEAVY BAY OR SPARRING IF I HIT SOMEONE BARE FIST THE BONES SHIFT AND I BASICALY HAVE TO LET THEM HEAL TO A POINT OF USE EVERYTIME THE MEDICAL FIX WOULD BE FUZE THE BONES BACK TOGETHER.

Yeah I have been wondering that too- its only a pinky joint like that on me - its all weird and twice as wide as the other ones- the first joint from the tip of the finger
so not the knuckle. I think its some sort of fused bone thing from being jammed. I ahve the same type of thing going on on a toe I jammed once and the doc said it was fused together when it healed.

i hate clubs. when you are big or good looking and girls talk to you, guys get pissed, people are drunk, stupid and looking to prove something. No matter how much of a badass you are there are always 8 of their friends and then your friends jump in, everyone gets in a few hits, you smash someones face in or someone hits you in the back of the head with a beer bottle or something, then you get carried out by some gurrilla in a black shirt.

I'll stick to kicking it at the crib with a few close bros and some hotties.

I don't know about you guys but I used to get into 10 times more fights defending or helping someone esle than I ever did on my own. Not counting the times an idiot swung on my while I was kicking him out but the time where I wasn't working and got involoved. It was usually caused by some guy who disrespeced one of the girls or guys I know. Now, if it's a girl and girl I don't get involved, that's when you get blind sided by one of the other girls friends. But, if one on my boys got side swiped or cheap shot I would come in full force. I never stood side by side with my boy either. I was always in the back ground where no one was looking. Element of surprise.

there's always going to be haters, no matter where you go. i'm not trying to say i'm hot shit, but i get this shit wherever i go... even if i'm just talking to a girl casually there's always some insecure fuckwit with all his mindless buddies that want to hate.

they aren't worth the time or potential risk to your clothes/body. they will still be stupid motherfuckers after the fight, no matter what the outcome.

so who cares? let them act a fool. they'll be masturbating at the end of the night while some gorgeous woman is sitting on my face.

Ain't that the truth. I seperated my shoulder in a bar fight 2 novembers ago... if i would have used better judgement i wouldn't have had problems with training etc... my shoulder still bothers me on some shoulder and chest days.
