I try to stay away from puffed wheat or riced or anything puffed. I've read the "extraction" process it goes through to make it puffed makes it higher GI than table sugar, and also changes the makeup of the proteins and carbs to somtehing less available to us. It could be bs but its just one of those things that I don't want to risk being true so I just avoid it. I'll post the info on it in another thread to see if anyone else ahs come across any studies related to it.

Thanks edvedr- I always thought it made sense to me and have quite the distrust of our food processing techniques as it is, just didnt want to be looked at as a conspiracy theorist or the like since I dont have any concrete published studies on it.
