Refusing to fight is cowardess at best, especially for a man that runs his mouth like no other. Truly disgusting, the man deserves nothing more than to fight on ESPN friday night fights....that may even be a stretch.Comment

The reason why he`s fighting is because he needs to pay his debts.. and alot of other shit too..so I do understand him..
He did almost win this match and ko`ed the Irish guy but I guess his luck is nowhere near good.
He says he`s done with boxing, he doesn`t have any passion for the sport, and he`s getting old..Comment

WELL A FRIEND OF MINE GOT THE FIGHT AT HIS HOUSE AND ABOUT 20-30 OF US SHOWED, PUT HIS 40 SOME INCH PLASMA OUTSIDE BY THE FIRE AND WATCHED IT LIKE THAT. We seem to always get rowdy up here- ESPECIALLY if we are out in the woods. Friends fighting eachother, smashing stuff, etc. Good times hehe. When I lived in a Chicago- a few Michigan friends lived there too in this old loft style place (had a firepole, couch hanging from the ceiling on chains, indoor archery into a mattress on the wall, etc) and when our friends from Michigfan would come and we would get rowdy those not from Mich. would always say "uhoh there goes some Michigan shit!" and step backComment

i gotta say, after this last fight... all my hope in Tyson has been washed away. i've been a fan since '86, and i think i realized today that it was mostly due to hype, not the athlete he was purported to be.
if you think about it, any time he has fought a serious contender he has lost. shit, he's lost to some bums even. my brother saw him get knocked out in Louisville a few years back to the guy klitchko (sp?) detroyed.
he may have had some potential, but that was all washed away when cus damato died IMO. after that he was just a pawn in the circus that is professional boxing at the heavyweight level.
it's a shame because i feel sorry for the guy- his life has been pretty rough despite all the money he has made... i guess i just wanted to see him make a comeback after prison; sort of get his shit together and realize his potential.
i think the world now sees that this isn't going to happen. it's too little, to late for tyson. depressing when you think about it.so fresh and so clean clean
