Oh yeah and I use all monster cable speaker wires, S Vid, Fiber optics, and audio video cords, as well as a monster surge protector. Honestly made a big difference in picture quality.
Pioneer Dvd Player and my shitty PS2 (4th one and sony's sending my fifth) POS!
You can hookup most anything to the new tv's nowdays O2, best thing i think is to get the prologic receiver with the watts you are looking for in a stereo for audio, and then i have the little Bose on the stands for the fronts and sides and i have the bass box in the rear for good background effects. It all depends on how much you want to spend. JBL speakers also are very good. I heard Infinity speakers and they sound excellent also, real crisp treble and clean basses. They are at least 1/3 the cost of the Bose too. You can either get the systems for the home theater, or buy them seperately and get what you want.
I agree with Mick G but you don't want pro logic you want dolby digital. The bose speakers are awesome you can pick up the cube package with the powered sub for $699 from circuit city. A Decent reciever will start at around $250.00. The quality cables will be about $150.00
I have the prologic and it has different effects. You can have stadium sound for like sports, theater sound, which is more of a reverb sounding, it also has dolby digital. It just has different settings depending on what you are watching and prefer. I agree though Circuit City has some awesome deals on most anything electronic, and excellent varity of tv's and audio. Only thing i need is a new living room TV, as it is an old Mitsu*****i, the one with the wood grain and blue Matrix tube. They stopped making them i think about 20yrs ago, lol , but it still has an excellent picture.
