Re: Whats ur favorite beer ??

Dont really have a fave, but my usual choices are either:
          -Newcastle
          -Yeungling
          -Carolina Blonde
          -Franzenkiner (??)

I used to be a water-beer drinker in highschool and thereafter, but then I became a man.

Comes in a 20oz bottle and dark.
That's because you live in Florida and you have no clue about what the rest of the country has. (No Offense) I live in Colorado and there are litterally hundreds and hundreds of microbrewers here. We can go into any bar or any restaurant and get dozens of choices. Choices that most of you can't get. Some how Colorado has one of the highest allowances for alcohol %. Beers like Fat Tire aren't available in the southeast, or most parts of the country. We have dozens of beers even stronger than that. I'm not a beer fanatic but I don know from all my years of drinking the difference between a good beer and a great beer and we have dozens of beers that beat the shit out of any import you can name.

If you read my post above you'll see that I chose 90 Schilling as my favorite beer. It is brewed in Ft. Collins, CO. However, I am not too sure of the alcohol percentage being higher in CO, nor can I deny it. The fact that all the grocery stores and gas stations only sell 3.2% beer has me in doubt if CO beers are indeed higher in alcohol, but I do know that the beers are stronger in the liquor stores. I used to live there and loved it, but where I live now there might as well not be any laws. Drinking is 24/7 and we have plenty of microbrews as well.

I didn't mena to be offensive bro, sorry if I came across that way. I'm not sure of the "laws" but I do know for a fact that when we got beer in Panama City during spring break the alcohol % was lower than that of the same beer in Atlanta (may be different now). Several of my buddies back in Atlanta own bars and since moving to Colorado they have expressed the fact the we have beers here they can't buy or sell because of the higher alcohol %. If think it must vary from state to state.

That's crazy that co has higher % allowances. I would assume it would be less because of the high altitude and people needing less to get snookered. I guess if you live there you are acclimated though so it's all the same. I know when i am in the rocky mtns i gotta hold back personally

It may just be for the microbrewers, I don't know if like Bud or Coors make it any differently, but then again I don't work in that industry so I can't say for sure. I just know that certain brands that are allowed here aren't allowed in Atlanta due to the higher % of alcohol.
