actually Fit, I just read that he was treated and released with only minor injuries. Thats the reson the news was allowed to run the video. if he had died, permission would not have been granted.
How he made it with only minor injuries is beyond me. Simply WOW!Comment

there was a police officer in my town that was killed like that. our new city sticker has a tribute to him. he was on the force 11 months, he was off duty ans stopped to help someone. its tragic.Badasz1@Hushmail.comComment

It was because he didn't see it coming, you know, like the drunk driver who usually survives the accident because they are all relaxed. He didn't have time to flinch or tighten up so his body was loose and just went with the impact.
