Re: Do you read/believe in horoscope ???

Prob with the astrology is that its like fortune telling, if you get somebody that doesn't know anything about and doesn't really know how it works the reading will be bunk, if you find someone who is reputable than you get better chance of accurate reading. Its prob better to go to an astrologist than to read the Enquirer or the local papers. I personally don't take stock in it much, but from what ive heard it is a "word of mouth" type of thing, same as fortune telling.

Second reason, a little more scientific, is because astology is based on stars and star formations. Now, science has proven that most the stars we see have already burned out and we only see the remains of the light still traveling across the galaxy. You figure light travels at 280,000 miles per second and these stars are millions of light years away, they actually don't even exist anymore. Not only do they not actually exist today but they didn't actually exist when astology began. So, my question is this; how can someone believe in something based on stars that aren't really even there? how can dead stars tell you anything? Simple, they can't.

Even though I kidded around in a prior post, I do believe this is true.

Re: Do you read/believe in horoscope ???

I actually do a bit.. as for the stars being dead- alot of astrology seems to be based on planet positions, and not dead stars. The planets out there are not dead as the stars light so that kills that point. And for the horoscopes being different.. yes ALOT of horoscopes are bullshit because of course not all astologers have their shit together or are necessarily good at it. I have had many times when mine was dead on from a few astrologers I read- and that happening in strange ways made me start to believe it somewhat. Now its not always accurate but for me Ive noticed many times it is very much so.

Also- I've noticed ALOT of truth people acting like their signs, me not likeing/getting along with people of other signs and that sort of thing. And that makes sense to me because our bodies are based on checmistry, chemistry is based on math and postive negative pulls of our envireonment can have effects on how the chemicals in our body/brain react.. so it seems ther may be some truth in when and where you are born having some effect on the intital formation of who your are. I know it sounds far fetched but theres alot we dont understand.

One interesting example of what I am talking about as far as chemical effects on magnetic pulls is haunted houses and electromagnetics (power lines, microwaves, radio waves etc) theres research going on that shows that places said to be haunted are that way because they have very high or abnormal leves of these waves, can be caused by old wiring or clsoe to radio towers and the like.. and those waves cause chemical imbalances in parts of the brain that can cause hallucinations/ie. ghosts. Anyways- because of all this I do believe in it to the extent I cant say it is 100% bs.
