TOOK OUR UAL PENSION PLAN AWAY AND GAVE MANAGEMENT THE GO TO MAKE MORE CUTS.TODAY COULD BE D DAY FOR UNITED BECAUSE THE MECHANICS AND US RAMP VOTED YES TO STRIKE.ITS ABOUT PRINCIPLE NOW THEY WILL KEEP TAKING UNTIL WE FINALY STAND UP AND SAY PHUCK YOU.

Shitty deal Fuzo. I know how you feal.. I recently took a 15% pay cut.

The worst part is that out union sold us out. The union only cares about the number of members it has.. more members means more union dues. So what they did is agree to a large pay cut so that no jobs would be outsourced. Problem is... the jobs they wanted to outsource SHOULD have been outsourced. So we go on strike, the whole nine yards.. just for the union to sell us out in order to keep a few jobs.

Lucky for me, I get lumped in the same union as the janitors and kitchen staff. There's no way a guy without even a highschool education should be making $20 an hour with full benifits just for moping floors or washing dishes. Fuck ya... outsource these services if that's what you have to pay.

It all comes down to pockets. How to keep the investors pockets full. They don't give a flying phuck about you, the employee. The bottom line is all the people at the top care about. When was the last time any major company took pay cuts at the top? It don't phukin happen. Even if they take a base pay cut they make it up with higher bonuses. This is why I hate corporate America. Nobody give a shit about the people who can't feed their kids or can't plan for retirement because they're only worried about that 60 foot phukin yacht, or those yearly trips to Paris, Milan, and Hawaii.

WELL WILL FIND OUT IN A FEW DAYS IF THEY LET UAL MAKE MORE CUTS.OUR UNION ARE A BUNCH OF *****S WHO ARE IN BED WITH MANAGEMENT.IVE TAKEN ALMOST A $4 PAY CUT.WHEN WE CALL IN SICK WE ONLY GET PAID 70% OF OUR PAY SAME WHEN INJURED.THEY TOOK 2 VAC WEEKS AWAY FROM US ARE INSURANCE WENT UP AND GET THIS OUR UNION DUES EVEN WENT UP,WHAT A CROCK.

i dont know why the working man has to pay for those bastard executive's poor management. they arent hurting for $ and i bet their pay stayed close to the same. OH i am so sorry guy you went from $180,000 a year to $170,000 a year. what a hit. now take $10,000 away from a guy making $50,000 a year and that is a kick in the balls

I think this is just the beginning. Companies have been accessing, using, raiding, borrowing... whatever you want to call it, against overfunded pensions since the stockmarket bubble that began in the early 80's. The companies requirement is to the minimum annuity for each employee, not the favorable experience they received on investments with your money. Next time the union negotiates a contract, make that an issue. I a Ronald Reagan conservative from the word go but this nonsense needs to stop. People are given pension estimates and they could be cut by 1/4 or more with companies using pension money to buy back (support) their own dog shit stock (no offense). Oh, you got me started. Let me go look at the Byron costumes again... it cheers me up :-)
