It's the same reason why some men don't like Big Muscular women - or even just Big women.

We all have certain things we are attracted to. As I have mentioned before, I have dated short guys, skinny guys, big guys and muscular guys. With my experience, many men don't like a woman that is taller than them. Then again, I have dated a guy that made me feel like I was TOO SMALL (he likes the plus size model look).

It all boils down to personal preference.

i don't do any of this for anyone but myself. i don't care what any other women like, i'm married. my wife honestly couldn't care if i was fat or not. and no she is not just sayin that, trust me i've seen her ex's. i tell her all the time that since she spent years with a couple of lumps god rewarded her with me. lol sorry for the cockyness

Common sense would tell you that most women prefer the Usher type. Just look at every male model, look at all the top movie heart throbs, they are all smaller guys with slim builds. Brad Pitt probably has the best build of all the heat throbs and to me he's skinny. Most male models are skinny, some are a little built (like a swimmer) but mose are skinny. That's what women like and that's what sells products.

You sure as hell don't see guys like Ronnie Coleman doing Calvin Klein commercials, you don't see Jay Cutler doing AXE body spray commercials, and you don't see any really built guys modeling clothes because they usually don't fit right.

My wife goes back and forth with this because whe's seen me with the 8 pack and she's seen me up to 244 at 5'10" with the wonder ab (I wonder where the other 7 went). If we are walking around down town at night, she likes the big guy cause it makes her feel safe. When we go to the beach or something she likes the lean guy. I agree with her. I don't like to be at the beach during a bulking cycle. And I also like the fact that people give way when I walk down the sidewalk at 244 at my height.

But, the general women does not desire the bodybuilder type. Frank Zane would be about the max and he's not really that big. I think he has one of the most symetrical bodies every but he wasn't that big.

I just dislike when girls confuse be ripped with being big. i swim with guys who are 6'2 170, and like 5-6%. yeah there 11inch arms are huge. lol. but girls see vasularity and abs and think he is so muscular. i personally like being around 8% and I never go over 10% so i can always see at least 4 abs even when i bulk. It all depends on your goals. and i would want a girl who would want me at 195 but not a 205(shallow if u ask me) as for girls i love them healthy looking with curves. big boobs, hips, butt. i have dated all kinds. Its just what works for me.

Yea, you got that right. There is a big difference between being built and being skinny. To tell you the truth, I've only met a couple of skinny guys who didn't have abs showing. It's hard not to when you're that damn skinny.

Yea, you ever seen someone drop 20 pounds and still have the same BF%? WTF? When are people going to get a clue. I used to manage a Cory Everson gym back in Georgia and all the middle aged women wanted to look like the 20 year olds. So I got a few of them together and told them to watch this. I had this little 19 year old coming in for her first training session with me. She was in such horrible shape that she tried to quit like 5 times. After the session I went over and told the ladies, "you are in better shape than she is" and walked away. They laughed.

Skinny is not in shape, its just skinny. I've had a women who was 30% bf with resting heart rate of 55. She could go for hours, literally, she just looked like she was out of shape.
