Damn Birds...

    Damn Birds...

    I need some suggestions on safely removing or coaxing birds away from my house. The wind has been hell lately around my place (hence the increase in moths for those of you who read my moth post) leading to subsequent increase in the amount of hungry and wind blown birds looking for a place to chill. Problem is is that they are phucking chilling out under my overhangs. Because it’s been rather windy lately, I now have two morning doves that sleep/nest in the overhang above my front door. When I come out in the morning to head into the gym those two little phuckers start flying around and it startles the living hell out of me… Wings phucking flapping and she-it. So, how do I get rid of the little bastards?

    i had a prob. with woodpeckers in fla. i put plastic owls on the roof, no more problem, but then i had to look at plastic friggin owl's, so.....

      you can buy bird spikes at the hardware store and nail them up an any place they stand around or roost.

            I finally got rid of the cat... little bastard was using my front yard (dirt and sand) as a litter box. Little cock sucker was crapping all over damn place and when I'd go to pull weeds I'd unearth these little she-it mines that he planted all over - bastard.

              Ok, so the cat idea is out. Take out their nest and spray the living crap out of it with cologne or something. That should drive em off.

                  I don't wear the stuff so it wouldn't bother me. But yea, some ammonia should do the trick.

                    You can always get a real owl and make him a sweet nest on your roof. Train him to kill on command and put one of those invisible fence tags on him so he gets zapped if he leaves your yard. Plus you could get a bat and do the same with it so you have a decrease of bugs in your yard too. Maybe the two will mate and and make a new species you can call a Bawl. (Bat and Owl combined) Then you can breed them and sell them for mega dollars on ebay and become a multimillionaire and move out of your current house, at which point you can move into a mansion and just hire 24hr snipers that will kill anything you want them to.

                            i have a ledge on my porch and i laid them up there and the damn birds stopped getting up there and stopped building nests!
