  • My sister lost 25 lbs in 9 months!!

Yes, it is true. I was talking to my oldest sister and telling her about my workouts, etc. NONE of my three sisters workout.

SHe said to me, "Erin lost 25 lbs since last summer" (erin is my 16 year old sister who is 5'6).

I said "oh yeah? What did she do?"

My oldest sister responded, "She started smoking. That is how Kara and I stay thin too!"

I SWEAR TO GOD I AM ADOPTED!

It's kinda like *****ing about "username only" thread titles. It gets me no where.

They are going to smoke regardless - but they know they are not welcome in my home or vehicle with cigs. I guess that is why they have never visited me in the 4 years I have been here. *lmao*

You were right, i had never seen that sister. Now that i have i comments are right on the money. Personally i think she looked fine at her higher weight and i dont think losing 25lbs was needed. Either way, if she's happier with herself where she is then its worth it.

What's worse is than when she quits she's going to gain 40lbs!

What is it with women and smoking? The statistics are changing dramatically... used to be that it was mostly men who smoked. Now it's gone to the point where there are now more women smokers than men. And teenage statistics are even more scary. 75% of teenage smokers are female.

Maybe at that age they are more vulnerable to peer pressure...

I'm sure that's the reason. But at the same time, I think the teenage guys are in the same situation. The teenage years are the worst for peer pressure... I don't think there's any difference between male and female for this.
