DRUGS LIKE THESE YOU CAN'T JUST TRY OUT FOR A FEW DAYS THEY TAKE WEEKS TO RUN COURSE IN YOUR SYSTEM AND TAKE EFFECT AND EVEN THEN YOU WILL NOT SEE A NIGHT A DAY DIFFERENCE UNLESS THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE ON THE BAD SIDE, NIGHTMARES, DROWSINESS...USE THEM AS THERE PERSCRIBED OR SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR.
Hey bros, havent posted in a while, but I can speak on this. I too, have some add issues. I get to where my mind races, and I can't concentrate. All day everyday I go go go go go like a frickin tweaker. Its good in some ways (at the gym), but in others it sucks because I can't think straight. My doc put me on Lexapro, which is a SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor). Lexapro is really similar to Wellbutrin, if not the same. Like TRAM said, it won't help overnight. I took it for about 8 months. The first few weeks I felt all spacey. I never really got that feeling that I was expecting, you know "Hey I'm all normal now!" I decided I didnt need this stuff, so I stopped taking it. OH MY GOD, THIS WAS HELL! I felt very spacey all the time and half drunk. I had an even harder time concentrating, so I started tapering off. I tapered off so slowly, it took my 2 months to be completely off of the stuff. Now I realize how much it did help me. I got all add again shortly after I stopped taking it. I didnt want to start taking that stuff again (no insurance, cost me more than juice!) so I tried some herbal stuff called nutrizac. It has st. johns wort and some other stuff in it. No side effects or anything. 25 bucks at vitamin shoppe. This stuff works as well as the Lexapro for me and if I forget to take a pill, I don't get all fuct up in the head like I did on Lexapro. I am alot more focused and have a better attitude when I take stuff for the add instead of just ignoring it. Hope that helps, good luck!

Right! I took Celexa (spell ?) and it took about 2 weeks to kick in. Iwas mildly depressed a few years ago. They gave me the minimum dose for the minimum time. I felt completely back to normal in about 3 weeks. When I got to the 5 week mark I started halfing the pills and I winged my self off over the last 2 weeks. Never looked back. But I will tell you the truth, that stuff really helped me at that time in my life. I'm sure I would have been fine but it would have taken a lot longer.
Good luck!
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
