My family has been sick so I have been avoiding them like they have the plague. I have been border line compulsive on washing my hands. Last thing I wanted was to get sick during my cycle. Everyone gets better in my house and just like that I get sick. This sucks!! :2gunsfiri :2gunsfiri :2gunsfiri

I know what you mean jelly bean. Ive been around people with colds but it seems I never got it, lucky for me. But the thought of worring not to get it and avioding contacts. The only person I came into contact was my gf but it never hit me.

Bro my story fits yours like a tee. It started with my son vomiting and diarrhea. You hope just maybe you wont get it. I got yesterday on my way home from work. Had to stay home today it's so bad. Lost 9 lbs. in less than 24 hrs. I'm just now able to keep some things down.

Get a flu shoot next year. It's totally worth it. My work gives them to employees for free. I just have to go downstairs on "flu shot day" get my shot, my sticker, my sucker and I'm on my way!

hehe, same here Username..... started my cycle last week, and few days ago my landlord became sick... he's coughing and sneezing all over the house... right now i only get out of my room when i have to (to go to kitchen/washrooms)... i haven't talked to him in few days now, and i wash my hands constantly...
i soooooo don't want to get sick now... last thing i need...

hey GG.. here in ontario they give everyone who want a flu shot for free... just walk into any hospital/walk in clinic, and they'll do it for ya... no charge.....
i have never done it myself tho... i don't trust em... all the shit they put into the shots.. heard so many stories about how ppl got side effects from it.. gotten sick, etc.....
so i'd rather stick to washing my hands and vitamin C

No shit? Are you sure? Here in BC, children, seniors and people with cronic health problems get them for free. Everyone else has to pay like $20.

Don't believe the crap you hear about side effects and people getting sick. That's just people blameing the shot for their problems. I've gotten it 4 years in a row now and never had so much as a red mark on my delt. Last time the lady couldn't even find the pinhole in my arm to put the bandaid. I didn't bleed even a tiny bit.
