i got my cast off on tuesday...was supposed to be a good day. turns out the blood flow to the new bone is decreasing. we are gonna try a few things over the next few months to get the blood flow going. if its doesn't work the bone will die and i'll have to get the entire procedure done over again!

i have to go for a cat scan so he can have a better angle, until then i'm kinda in limbo. one thing that i know will be used is some type of machine that sends electronic pulses to the bone to help it increase the blood flow. i will have to use it for 30 minutes a day. i need to talk to the doc more. it really caught me off guard and i didn't remember to ask what i wanted to.
