So bright and early all still spun from the night before, I got off the lift and it was like zero vis up there at times ! Was a trip truckin' down the runs all baked and blind. I feel like I was in a bad rollover. On my last run I took the long traverse, and got to notice I was the onlyone up there, and the lifts were empty. I got to the bottom, and the kid runnin' the lift wouldn't let me run to the top so I could get back to the lodge. Yes, I let him live.. None of the "subaru ski snobs" would give me a ride to the other lot. So I humped it through the woods waist deep in powder, im 5'4" so it really sucked. Got to another lift and this kid got on the radio and had Ski Patrol run me back on the artic cat. The place was deserted,... cept for my girl and her son. She had everyone lookin' for me,.. I was being traced by my lift pass so I suppose I woulda gotten a ride no matter. Next day I started my first day of Welding class, was a blast gettin' to wear my new gear and learning to cut. I think im really going to dig it and think about getting my cert and try to see if I can make a lil' money at it.
