Listen everyone. When we ask you to help put the word out to other People about FG that doesn't mean you can just splash our name everywhere without permission.

If you have friends you talk to via AIM, emails, in person - then let them know we would like to see them around.

BUT DO NOT SOLICITE OTHER BOARDS MEMBERS WITHOUT THE OWNERS PERMISSION. We do not give your private information out nor do me allow people to join and promote their products or services in threads without permission.

Please respect other boards and their staff.

i know we want to make FG grow as much as possible but we have to do it correctly!! under no circumstances should any of our members solicite members from other boards with out getting that board owners permission first. we have to respect other boards!!

NO BOARD OWNS ANYONE. I DONT SEE THE PROBLEM IN SOMEONE TELLING A FRIEND TO COME VISIT ANYWHERE. BUT I AGREE, THERE ARE RIGHT AND WRONG WAYS OF DOING IT.

yes but we can't have our members going to other boards and pm'ng people saying come over to fitnessgeared. obviously it was being done to people other than friends or a board owner would not have gotten wind and got pist off. i wouldn't wanna see people doing that here either

pm's are board property still - if it is a one on one conversation - FINE but if it is blatant solicitation it is wrong.
