On board computer. Its a audable altimeter that fits inside my helmet. It beeps at certain altitudes to let me know when I need to deploy my main canopy.
It measures speed by the change in altitude plus acceleration (10 m/s2) and then logs it into a memory bank. I can take it then and drop the info onto my computer and look at it, graph it, ect.

I didn't realize that altimeters were that accurate. Pretty cool.
yeah, im not to shure the +/- amounts of accuracy, but I know its fairly good.
