Just heard on CNN one of the nurses say that Terri's husband would tell them not to give her the treatment she needed and was very mean in the room. Also, now Michael wants to go against her parents wishes, as they are Catholic for a burial, and have her cremated.
Personally i think that if she had received the right physical therapy and consoling from her husband 15 yrs ago, she prob wouldn't have been in the state she is in today. I have seen clips with her and her husband, and i just don't get the impression that he was that supportive and tried to stimulate her in a caring and loving way. If you see the films clips with her parents she is all smiles and seems responsive, but when you see the clips with her husband, her head turns away and you can actually see her become non responsive.
It is strange how the closest people in her life are all at odds with how her husband has portrayed terri's wishes, then throw the multiple accounts by different nurses on top of that and it seems to me you have one shady husband, trying to hide something.
I'm with you Klash. It think the guy is a little suspicious.
As far as me, if there was no hope I would tell my wife to pull the pulg and go on with life. I don't want her to have to take care of me, feed me, change adult diapers, no way. Besides, my life insurance policy would give her and my son a better life than we have now.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

I agree. I love life enough where I could sit in a bed and stare out the window for the rest of my life but knowing that I was a burden to my family, whether they admitted it or not, I would rather die.

Im starting to think that the husband tried to off her and wants her dead now so no one figures it out.
Don't believe all you see on TV. What do ya'll all of a sudden think if you here it on CNN it is true??? They keep showing the same 5 seconds of footage of her" once" perked up and the same 5 seconds of her turning away from her husband. Is he getting away with something. Maybe. But that was 13 years ago. How do you think you would feel if for 13 years your wifes wishes were not being kept and she has to stay alive in that state of being??? I'd be very frustrated. He has offered to give away the Life insurance money on her death and he has lost way more than that keeping her " alive". No one should have to live like that.Thats not life. She will not recover regardless of the rehab. She may improve slightly but will always be totally dependant on someone for the most basic of needs. To the comment about all the money from books and movies he stands to gain after her death. Is that really a motive to keep her alive??? Hell know.If they'd pulled the plug 13 years ago nobody would have ever heard the name Schiavo and he'd never had a dollar coming. No books. No movies. Our goverment getting involved is just ludicrious. Let her go.She's closer to death than ever before.
