    I've got only 1 CC. I only use it for emergencies, when I want to buy something online, or when I want to get a rental car or something.

      ditto, and I only finally broke down after 20 years of not having one because it got to the point in stores and anywhere they look at you like you are insane or a criminal if you don't have one, it's like cc's are more valid than a driver's liscense

      course now, amazon and dps are happy I have one

      oh, i get about 4-5 offers for card in mail a week, you'd figure they'd have figured it out after 20 years, ain't gonna do it

            i got one with no debt, just pay it off after every month, i use it for gas cause it easy. Also anything over the net i buy.

              just 1 that im trying to pay off... its only at about 1200$ so not too bad.

                  I have 4 - two with low interest (4.9%) and I don't charge anything on them - just paying them off as fast as I can, 1 clothing store card - pay off each month, but if you have their card, they send you incredible coupons, and 1 last one with a zero balance for emergenices.

                        I have 5!!! ran up 10K worth of debt during my 4 broke years in college. Trying to pay them off now. It's a pain! Once they are all paid off I will only keep 2 and close the rest.
